A refined takeoff on the humble plastic supermarket bag, these totes are made of 5/16” raffia tape sewn together edge to edge with a zigzag stitch for greater flexibility. Two stitches hold the inverted pleats in place. These bags will soften with time; revive them with an occasional very fine spray of water.
